Climate Change Conference - November 2019
This was the fifth annual conference staged as a not-for-profit project
and an event free to delegates to attend organised jointly by myself
and Jacqui Staunton of Change Solutions Limited. It was the largest
climate change conference to be held in the West Midlands in 2019.
It was sponsored by whg, (Walsall Housing Group), The Birmingham
Energy Institute of the University of Birmingham, the Commercial
Group, and the RSA (Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and
Commerce).
It was officially launched by Professor Rashid Gatrad, OBE, Deputy
Lieutenant of West Midlands. Keynote expert speaker was John Firth, founder and CEO of globally operating Acclimatise. A capacity audience of 200 registered for the event staged at the Tally Ho Conference Centre in Edgbaston, Birmingham and included representatives from business, the third sector, academia, NGOs, and local politics.

"The Adventure of adventure writing" and talking about climate change have been recent speaking engagements. The photographs are from the Kings Heath Authors' event, the Frazeley lunch group, and at Henley in Arden. Talks can be tailored to meet the requirements of each event and can be with or without the support of PowerPoint and videos.
